Effective 6 October 2026 · v3
Rarita is a marketplace facilitator (not a seller or buyer)
Rarita operates as a technology-driven platform that connects independent buyers and sellers for the purchase and sale of rare and collectible items. Rarita does not own, manufacture, source, store, or take possession of any products listed on the platform. All listings are created by sellers, and all transactions are executed directly between buyers and sellers. Rarita’s role is limited to providing infrastructure such as verification systems, tools for sharing seller payment details and buyer payment proofs, and dispute resolution. Rarita does not collect, hold, or transfer payments between buyers and sellers.
No control over listings, quality, or legality of items
Rarita does not guarantee the authenticity, condition, legality, or safety of items listed by sellers. While safeguards such as KYC verification, video verification, and platform monitoring are implemented, Rarita does not independently inspect each item. Buyers acknowledge that they are responsible for reviewing listings and verification videos before approving transactions.
No agency, partnership, or employment relationship
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between Rarita and any user. Buyers and sellers act independently and transact at their own discretion.
Minimum age requirement (18+)
Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law. By registering on the platform, users confirm that they meet this requirement.
Account responsibility and security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted under their account. Any unauthorized use must be reported immediately. Rarita shall not be liable for losses resulting from account misuse due to negligence.
Accurate information and KYC compliance
Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal, contact, and payment information. KYC verification may be required for certain transactions or roles (especially sellers). Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension, transaction cancellation, or permanent ban.
Instant purchase at listed price
The “Buy Now” option allows a buyer to immediately purchase an item at the seller’s listed price without negotiation. This is the fastest and most straightforward method of completing a transaction.
Immediate contract formation upon order placement
Once the buyer places an order using the Buy Now option, a legally binding agreement is formed instantly between the buyer and seller. The buyer must then pay the seller and upload proof of payment, the seller is obligated to fulfill the order once payment is confirmed, and the buyer cannot withdraw except under defined conditions.
Item reservation and removal from marketplace
Once a Buy Now order is placed, the item is automatically reserved for the buyer and removed from active listings, preventing multiple buyers from purchasing the same item.
Buyer places a price offer (bid)
Buyers can place bids on items, indicating the price they are willing to pay. This allows for negotiation between buyer and seller.
Seller retains full control over acceptance
The seller has complete discretion to accept, reject, or ignore bids based on their pricing expectations and strategy.
Accepted bid becomes legally binding transaction
Once the seller accepts a bid, the transaction becomes legally binding. The buyer is required to complete payment, and the seller must fulfill the order.
No withdrawal after bid acceptance
Buyers cannot cancel or modify their bid after it has been accepted by the seller, except under platform-defined conditions.
Real-time competitive bidding environment
Live auctions allow multiple buyers to compete for an item in real time through a countdown-based bidding system. Each new bid must exceed the previous bid by a predefined increment.
Automatic winner selection based on highest bid
At the end of the auction timer, the system automatically declares the highest bidder as the winner.
Immediate payment obligation for auction winner
The winning bidder must complete payment within the defined timeframe. Failure to do so may result in penalties, account restrictions, or suspension.
Platform is not an auctioneer or pricing authority
Rarita does not control bidding behavior or determine final prices. Auction outcomes are entirely determined by user participation.
Automated bidding up to maximum limit
Users may set a maximum bid amount, and the platform will automatically place incremental bids on their behalf to maintain competitiveness.
Dynamic response to competing bids
The system increases bids only when necessary to outbid competitors, up to the user’s maximum limit.
No guarantee of winning auctions
Automated bidding does not guarantee that a user will win, as competing bids may exceed the set limit.
Booking slots in a sealed product
Sellers may offer a sealed product, such as a booster box, as a fixed number of slots at a set price per slot. Buyers may book one or more slots, up to any per-buyer limit set by the seller, and must pay for each booking in the same way as a Buy Now purchase.
Booking closes at rip time
Booking closes at the scheduled rip time. Once the rip starts, no further slots can be booked, even if some slots remain unsold.
Packs are assigned live, not chosen
Slots do not correspond to specific packs. Which packs each buyer receives is decided live on stream, through the seller’s shuffle and the platform’s on-screen selection. Buyers cannot choose specific packs.
No guarantee of contents
The contents of sealed products are random. Neither the seller nor Rarita guarantees any particular card, rarity, or value, and the value of a buyer’s pulls may be lower than the price paid for the slot.
Bookings are final
A paid booking is a binding purchase and is not refunded because of the cards received. If the seller starts the rip with slots still unsold, the seller keeps the unsold portion, and bookings are not refunded in that case either. Refunds apply only where the seller cancels or fails to carry out the rip, as set out in Section 11.
Shipping of pulls
All items pulled from a buyer’s packs belong to that buyer and are shipped to them by the seller in line with Sections 7 and 10.
All transactions are legally enforceable commitments
All Buy Now purchases, accepted bids, and auction wins constitute legally binding agreements between buyers and sellers.
Users are obligated to fulfill transaction responsibilities
Buyers must complete payment, and sellers must deliver the agreed product. Failure to comply may result in penalties or account action.
Limited cancellation rights based on platform rules
Transactions cannot be cancelled arbitrarily. Cancellation is only allowed in specific scenarios such as product mismatch during verification or seller failure to comply.
Full upfront payment required from buyers
Buyers must pay the entire purchase amount directly to the seller before the item is shipped, to ensure commitment and reduce fraudulent or non-serious transactions.
Seller payment details
During onboarding, sellers must add valid bank account details and/or a UPI ID and UPI QR code. These details are shown to the buyer so the buyer can pay the seller directly. Sellers are responsible for keeping their payment details accurate and up to date.
Proof of payment
After paying, the buyer must upload proof of payment (such as a screenshot showing the transaction ID or UTR number) on the platform. Uploading fake, edited, or misleading payment proof is treated as fraud.
Seller confirmation before shipping
The seller must check that the full payment has been received and confirm it on the platform before shipping the item. Sellers must confirm or report payment issues promptly.
Rarita is not a party to payments
As buyers pay sellers directly, Rarita is not responsible for payments sent to incorrect accounts, failed or delayed transfers, or issues with banks or UPI apps. Buyers should pay only using the payment details shown for their order on the platform.
Mandatory video verification before shipment
Sellers must upload a clear, real-time video of the product before shipping. This ensures transparency and builds buyer confidence.
Detailed disclosure of product condition
The video must clearly display all aspects of the product, including defects, wear, packaging, tags, and authenticity markers.
Buyer approval required before shipping
The buyer must review and approve the verification video before the seller is allowed to dispatch the item.
Platform authority to reject verification
Rarita may reject or cancel transactions if the verification video is misleading, incomplete, or fails to meet platform standards.
Obligation to deliver as per listing and verification
Sellers must deliver the exact item as described in the listing and shown in the verification video. Any deviation may result in dispute or penalty.
Mandatory shipping within defined timeline (48 hours)
Sellers must dispatch the item within 48 hours after buyer approval. Failure to comply may result in penalties or listing restrictions.
Accurate and non-misleading listings required
Sellers must ensure that all product descriptions, images, and details are accurate and truthful.
RC (Rare Coins) wallet requirement and fee compliance
Sellers must maintain sufficient Rare Coins (RC) balance in their wallet. RC is an in-app currency where 1 RC = ₹5. Platform fees are calculated as the higher of 1% of the transaction value or a predefined RC fee and are automatically deducted.
Compliance with Indian tax and legal regulations
Sellers are responsible for complying with GST, invoicing requirements, and other applicable Indian laws.
Mandatory payment after transaction confirmation
Buyers must pay the seller immediately after a Buy Now purchase, bid acceptance, or auction win, and upload proof of payment on the platform.
No fake bidding or misuse of platform features
Buyers must not place bids without intent to purchase or attempt to manipulate prices.
Accurate delivery and contact details required
Buyers must provide correct shipping address and contact information to ensure successful delivery.
Responsible use of dispute and cancellation rights
Buyers must not misuse dispute or cancellation mechanisms. False claims may result in penalties.
Market-driven pricing model
Prices on Rarita are determined by sellers and influenced by demand, rarity, and market trends. Prices may exceed MRP due to collector value.
Rare Coins (RC) as platform currency
RC is an internal currency used primarily for seller fees. The fixed conversion rate is 1 RC = ₹5.
Seller fee structure (hybrid model)
Sellers are charged the higher of:
Automatic deduction and wallet requirement
Fees are automatically deducted from the seller’s RC wallet. Sellers must maintain sufficient balance to continue listing and selling.
Shipping arranged by the seller
Rarita does not provide or arrange shipping. Each seller chooses the courier or shipping method for their orders, and delivery timelines depend on the method the seller uses.
Shipment only after payment confirmation and buyer approval
Sellers are allowed to ship products only after confirming receipt of payment and after the buyer has approved the verification video. This ensures that the buyer is fully aware of the product condition before dispatch.
Seller responsibility until dispatch confirmation
The seller is responsible for properly packaging the product and ensuring it is handed over to the courier within the defined timeframe (48 hours). Any delay or improper packaging may lead to penalties.
Rarita not responsible for transit
Rarita is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage during shipping. Any such issues should first be raised with the seller and may then be taken up through Rarita’s dispute process.
Strict 48-hour dispute window after delivery
Buyers must raise any issues within 48 hours of delivery. Requests raised after this period may not be considered.
Disputes allowed only for valid cases
Valid disputes include cases where the item is counterfeit, incorrect, or significantly different from what was shown in the verification video or listing.
Mandatory unboxing video proof for claims
Buyers are required to record a continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened. This serves as critical evidence in dispute resolution.
No returns for buyer remorse or minor issues
Returns are not accepted for reasons such as change of mind, minor wear disclosed earlier, or price fluctuations in the market.
Refunds made by the seller
If a dispute is approved or an order is cancelled after payment, the seller must refund the buyer directly to the original payment method within a standard timeframe (typically 3–5 working days). As Rarita does not hold payments, Rarita does not issue refunds for orders; sellers who fail to refund may face penalties.
Platform decision is final and binding
Rarita acts as the neutral mediator and reserves the right to make the final decision based on available evidence.
Zero tolerance policy for fraud
Any fraudulent activity, including misrepresentation, scams, or deceptive practices, will result in strict action.
Strict prohibition on counterfeit items
Selling fake or replica products is not allowed and may result in permanent account ban and legal action.
Market manipulation and fake bidding prohibited
Users must not manipulate prices through fake bids, collusion, or artificial demand creation.
Platform enforcement rights
Rarita may cancel transactions, suspend accounts, and impose penalties without prior notice in serious cases.
Financial penalties and RC deductions
Violations may result in monetary penalties or deduction of Rare Coins (RC) from seller wallets.
Account restrictions and feature limitations
Users may face temporary restrictions such as listing bans or bidding limits.
Suspension or permanent termination
Severe or repeated violations may lead to permanent account suspension.
Recovery of losses caused to platform
Rarita reserves the right to recover financial losses caused by user actions through wallet deductions or legal measures.
Platform not liable for user actions or product quality
Rarita is not responsible for the actions of buyers or sellers, including product defects or disputes arising between users.
No guarantee of transaction completion
Rarita does not guarantee that transactions will be successfully completed or that users will fulfill their obligations.
Liability limited to transaction value only
In any case, Rarita’s liability shall not exceed the value of the transaction involved.
Platform-first dispute resolution requirement
Users must attempt to resolve disputes through Rarita before initiating legal proceedings.
Governing law – India
All transactions and disputes are governed by the laws of India.
Jurisdiction under Indian courts
Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
Used for transaction purposes only
Rarita collects and uses user data (such as name, contact details, address, and payment information) strictly for the purpose of facilitating transactions on the platform. This includes order processing, communication between buyer and seller, customer support, fraud detection, and compliance with legal requirements. The data will not be used for unrelated purposes without user consent.
Shared only to complete transactions
User information is shared only to the extent necessary to complete transactions. For example, the seller’s payment details are shown to the buyer so the buyer can pay, the buyer’s payment proof is shared with the seller to confirm payment, and the buyer’s name, shipping address, and contact details are shared with the seller for shipping. Buyers and sellers may use this information only to complete the relevant order. Payments made to Rarita, such as for Rare Coins (RC), are processed by third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe). Such sharing is limited, controlled, and done under strict confidentiality obligations.
Not sold to third parties
Rarita does not sell, rent, or trade user data to any third parties for marketing or commercial gain. User information remains protected and is only used within the scope of platform operations, except where required by law or regulatory authorities.
Compliance with Indian laws
Rarita complies with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) and IT Act provisions. Users may have rights to access, correct, or delete their data subject to legal requirements.
Right to suspend or terminate accounts
Rarita reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend, restrict, or terminate any user account if the user is found violating platform policies, engaging in fraudulent activities, or posing a risk to other users or the platform. This action may be taken without prior notice in serious cases to protect marketplace integrity.
Right to modify policies anytime
Rarita may update or modify its Terms & Conditions, policies, fees, or platform rules at any time. Changes will become effective once published on the platform. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Right to cancel suspicious transactions
Rarita reserves the right to cancel, pause, or investigate any transaction that appears suspicious, fraudulent, or in violation of platform policies. This includes cases such as unusual pricing behavior, suspected counterfeit items, payment issues, or abnormal bidding patterns. Rarita may require the seller to refund the buyer, or apply penalties, based on investigation outcomes.
Right to enforce penalties and recover losses
If a user’s actions result in financial loss, operational costs, or reputational damage to Rarita, the platform reserves the right to recover such costs through wallet deductions, payment method charges, or legal action where applicable.
Fraud or scams
Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in fraudulent activities, including selling counterfeit products, misrepresenting items, or attempting to deceive other users. Any such activity may result in immediate suspension, financial penalties, and potential legal action.
Fake listings
Creating listings for products that do not exist, are not owned by the seller, or are intentionally misleading is strictly prohibited. Listings must accurately represent the product in terms of condition, authenticity, and details.
Non-payment
Buyers who fail to complete payment after winning an auction, having a bid accepted, or using Buy Now are considered in violation of platform rules. Such behavior may lead to account suspension, wallet freeze, or penalties.
Off-platform transactions
Users are not allowed to bypass Rarita by completing transactions outside the platform after initiating contact. This includes sharing contact details to avoid fees. Such actions undermine platform trust and may result in penalties and permanent bans. Paying a seller using the payment details shown on Rarita for an order placed on Rarita is not an off-platform transaction.
Abuse of system
Any attempt to manipulate the platform, including fake bidding, price manipulation, creating multiple accounts, exploiting bugs, or misusing cancellation policies, is strictly prohibited. Rarita may take corrective actions including suspension, transaction cancellation, and financial penalties.
Violation of laws or third-party rights
Users must not engage in activities that violate Indian laws, intellectual property rights, or the rights of other users. This includes selling illegal goods, infringing trademarks, or distributing restricted items.
Zero-tolerance policy
Rarita has zero tolerance for abusive, harmful, or unlawful content and behavior. These rules apply to everything users post, upload, or share on the platform, including listings, product photos and videos, verification and unboxing videos, community posts and comments, profile details, and messages, as well as conduct during live auctions.
Users are responsible for their content
Users are solely responsible for the content they post and must own it or have the right to share it. Content must be accurate and lawful, and must not infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
Prohibited content
Users must not post or share:
Respectful conduct
Users must treat other users and Rarita’s team with respect in listings, bids, live auctions, community spaces, messages, and support conversations. Abusive language, harassment, threats, stalking, and repeated unwanted contact are not tolerated.
Moderation and content removal
Rarita may review, restrict, or remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice, and may retain such content as evidence where needed for investigations or legal requirements.
Strict enforcement
Depending on severity, violations may lead to immediate content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or a permanent ban. Serious violations, such as sexual content involving minors, threats of violence, or hate speech, will result in an immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

Users can report content or behavior that breaks these rules using the reporting options on the platform or by emailing contact@raritaclub.com. Complaints can also be sent to Rarita’s Grievance Officer, Kaustubh Sharma, at kaustubh@raritaclub.com.
Blocking users
Users can block any other user at any time. Blocking immediately hides that user’s listings, live rooms, posts, comments, and messages from the user who blocked them, and alerts Rarita’s moderation team.
24-hour action on reports
Rarita reviews reports of objectionable content or abusive users within 24 hours, removes content that violates these Terms, and suspends or permanently bans the accounts responsible.
